Balloon Sinuplasty

Balloon Sinuplasty is a safe and effective procedure for chronic sinusitis patients. This minimally invasive option is clinically proven to be safe, effective and improve the quality of life. During surgery a small, flexible balloon catheter is inserted to open up the blocked sinus passageways. When the sinus balloon is inflated, it widens the walls the same way that heart surgeons open up blocked arteries in the heart. Unlike conventional sinus surgery, balloon sinuplasty does not include removal of bone or tissue which significantly reduces the healing time, and allows patients to quickly return to normal activities. Our ENTACC physicians are part of a specialized group nationwide who are proficient with this procedure.
